Footy Fitness - All levels

Lower West Side - Outdoors at Battery Park

The Footy Fitness program provides fitness and strength-training in addition to developing soccer-specific skills. Participants can expect to spend half of their class training in plyometrics, strengthening endurance and agility in addition to a subset of Total Practice soccer-specific training.

About the location

Battery Park Ballfields is a hybrid turf field location, commonly used by softball players and soccer players. Nestled in lower Manhattan, with breathtaking views of the Freedom Tower, this location ranks high on the "must play at" field bucket list.

Coach Darren grew up in Atlanta Georgia, and became passionate about soccer after the city hosted the Olympics in 1996. He’s been an active member of BetterPlayer since the program started and incorporates skill-building and competitive fun into his sessions. He loves sharing his knowledge of the game and inspiring players of all backgrounds and skill levels to bring their best to the pitch.
