About the location

Battery Park Ballfields is a hybrid turf field location, commonly used by softball players and soccer players. Nestled in lower Manhattan, with breathtaking views of the Freedom Tower, this location ranks high on the "must play at" field bucket list.

Coach

Dapo Iwaeni

Dapo was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Just like many other passionate African kids, he grew up playing soccer in the streets and falling in love with the game. Played in numerous youth tournaments and leagues. Dapo believes playing soccer should be pleasant to eyes and entertaining. He loves coaching players and sharing his own interpretations of how to play the beautiful game. His role model is Pep Guardiola as he believes in “Total Football”. Dapo currently holds a USSF D Coaching License.
